yourself and your customers by using an H.G. Weber model PAV Patch
Applicator. The patch applicator applies a patch of film or foil to
add a window or patch without lining the entire bag.
Designed
with the user in mind, the patch applicator is simple to load, operate
and maintain. The system can be installed as an option on H.G. Weber’s
Universal Laminator or can be retrofit to your existing equipment.
The patch applicator’s process is
really quite simple. A predetermined amount of patch material feeds to
a perforated vacuum cylinder. Vacuum holds the patch material in place
while the cylinder rotates to the proper position for cutoff and
placement. A small burst of air releases the patch and applies it to
the web.
The results are patches applied at high
speed with accuracy and repeatability.
Unique clamp-on cylinders allow a quick
and easy changeover. Patch length can be adjusted by installing the
appropriate changegear. Lateral position can be controlled across the
entire width of the web. For even greater control and accuracy you can
add H.G. Weber’s optional Photoelectric Registration System.
