H.G. WEBER ACQUIRED BY DCM GROUP

            DCM Group North America, Inc. has acquired privately held H.G. Weber & Co., Inc., located in Kiel, WI.  H.G. Weber, founded in 1925, specializes in S.O.S. paper bag making machines and inline flexographic printing presses. 

            H.G. Weber and its employees will become part of the DCM group of companies including DCM of Nanterre, France, ATN Industries of Olivet, France and Holweg, S.A. of Molsheim, France.  All four companies are machine manufacturers involved in various segments of the flexible packaging and converting industry. 

            The Weber family is confident that this strategic sale to the DCM Group will best protect the future of the company by securing new product development, enlarged distribution networks, stronger purchasing power, and necessary funding. 

            John Koehn, CEO of H.G. Weber, will remain in that capacity as well as serving as a director of the DCM Group North America.  H.G. Weber & Co., Inc. will continue as a standalone company reporting to Mr. Bertrand Fara, president of DCM Group in France.
